From couch potato to bowl potato on New Year’s Day

There is no better holiday than one the government mandates to help people recover from hangovers by watching football all day. For Big Ten fans, New Year’s was a day destined for 10 hours of wearing their pajamas and devoting their only exercise to clicking their thumb on the remote among three bowl games involving conference teams.
