Extra snow means more work, more fun for snowmobile clubs
At this time last year, many Northlanders were lamenting the relative lack of snow. Now, one hears complaints of too much snow and grumbling for an end to the daily shoveling. Not everyone is displeased with the deepening blanket, however. John Deterling, treasurer for the Brule River Riders snowmobile club and president of the Northwest Trails Association of Douglas County, is smiling from ear to ear.By: Emily Kram, The Daily Telegram
