LETTER: Knee-jerk reaction to cut county board could be costly in the end

I have long been of the opinion that all levels of government should serve more limited role in many areas. When asked to serve on the Douglas County Organizational Study Group last year, my first thought was this would be an opportunity to recommend reducing the size of the county board.
