What a great idea having area teachers respond to the death of a classic author. However . . . Ms. van Druten . . . it troubles me that, as a high school teacher, you would go on record saying, "It has some cool swearing in it." Is that really the message you want to extend to our area youth? We wonder why kids today do not show as much respect for parents, teachers, and adults, in general, as they did in the past. Your comment only gives them more fodder to justify that disrespect.
