Great for the Huber Family and Douglas County. Please note that Jessica as a young person with an older sister that was a couple years older than her was treated for cancer for many years and later was called to heaven. I am confident this family was picked with the help of God. It is nice to hear good news and not bad news from the North. Tom M. Madison, WI

WOW GRACE - - can't you just be happy for someone? How many of those you 'see.. who are really hurting in this economy'- are YOU helping?

Grace...do you know these people? Leave it to someone like you to cut on them just because they were chosen. Do you know that hardships that they endure in their life? You are a typical small town person who finds satisfaction in cutting down others. I no longer live in Northern Wisconsin and you can thank people like yourself for that. I personally am very happy for the family was chosen..and no...I don't know them personally, nor do I know anyone who does. However, I am just a person who cares for others....

Good for this family - there ARE a lot of run down homes in this area - perhaps this will make others strive to do some improvements, too. It isn't always that they can't do it, but instead choose to spend their time and money in other ways, possibly not as beneficial to their families. These people tried to do it on their own, and I'm just so happy for them!

I think that it is a great thing for the Duluth/Superior area. Being a volunteer firefighter myself I know what things he sees and then the struggles of trying to fix up a house at the same time. My hat goes off to him !!!! Congrats !!!

It is wonderful for everyone who take part in event. And are town was choose for this make over. Sure there are many other family in need. But this family was choosen and now watch it grow. And evryone can ride by and say that is the extreme make over home. And if you are part of the make over it wonderful. I know a few that is taken part of it. And heart warming to everyone.Have you ever had important person from this make over, every talk to you, I know a few that are taken part, and have answer the phone and tell you that they are from the extreme make over and would like to talk to a store manager, or see the bus and machinery come down the road. It breath takening. So would like to meet Ty,is very heart warming person. And they all are carry people, why would they be in this business. To warm some one heart and the children. So we all need to sit back and watch it happen.,

Grace seems a little jealous. Maybe we should just be happy for them?

What was the deciding factor in selecting this couple? What extraordinary thing has taken place in their lives to warrant this? Most of the time, the selected couples have taken in or adopted special needs children or done some extraordinary feat for the community or such. Can you tell me the significance of this young couple? Outside of him being a firefighter and she being a nursing student. I see so many who are really hurting in this economy who need help and have a larger number of people in their households and really work for the better of mankind. Many homes in this area are run down and dangerous to live in. What separagtes them from the rest?
