Kirk R.- Who do you think he represents right now as Mayor of Superior? I would be afraid of getting one of the bozo's that ran for city council this last election, but thankfully lost.

It would be great to get rid of him and have a chance at getting a mayor who represents the citizens of superior.

J E, not sure what you are getting at. The mayor's salary is about $73,000. Mayor Ross has been very fiscally responsible. He has kept the city's head above water. It's nice to have someone with some business sense instead of the previous clowns that had no idea how to run any business. I hope the State of Wisconsin gets some new leadership that will stop the bleeding instead of handing out money like it grows on trees. As far as the old, historic buildings, I am glad the falling down eye sores are gone. The library on Hammond was saved and nothing has really happened with it. many people invested in it and new window were installed, but nothing else that I am aware of. If something was done, it doesn't look like it.

Note from the editor: I greatly appreciate the diversity of opinion expressed here; however, I am unappreciative of the veiled profanity that would escape our filters. Please demonstrate your intellect by refraining from such tactics. This is, after all, a publication created to appeal to the broadest of audiences, and many find it offensive. Please be respectful of the potential audience in your criticism and praise -- Shelley Nelson, executive editor

I wish him well. Will someone be monitoring his city time and travel expense while he campaigns for this office?

Go, Dave Ross, Keep Wisconsin out of debt like in Superior. Wisconsin does not need to go bankrupct like California and hand out IOU's to its vendors. I am from Minnesota, but just across the bridge. Your fiscal care looks great at this time of recession in the economy. You will give the voters a breathe of fresh air and hope for turning things around. Please curb the out of control spending. I'm glad I don't live there anymore. What a ... up city. The last and only good Mayor was Bruce Hagan. Just think people.....has anything really ever changed since Bruce Hagan? Poor people need the house's he tore down, they could have just remodeled the house's and saved a ton of money. Not everybody has a big bank account. Now you have opened land......just what soup-town needs. But than again you voted for the dumb ...TWICE! WHEN IN DOUBT....JUST CALL TEAR -IT-DOWN ROSS!
