The Minnesota Ballet presents its sparkling production of the holiday favorite, set in Manhattan a century ago, the lively Party Scene in an opulent townhouse, the glittery Snow Scene in a white-topped Central Park led by the Ice Fairy, the magical journey to exotic lands led by the Sugar Plum Fairy. The UMD Festival Orchestra plays the Tchaikovsky score live.
