Dan Wendt, a stone tool research specialist will present 'The Story In The Stone: Potential Clues To Early Paleoindian Lithic Technology.' The talk is on early stone tool manufacturing techniques. The work is in part based on the possible Solutrean(European) connection to Clovis (New World). Dan will illustrate his talk with examples he has made. Sponsored by Minnesota Power and the Duluth Archaeology Center.
