Local law enforcement is looking for the public’s help after discovering illegally obtained documents with a local business owner.
Members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Superior Police Department and Lake Superior Forensic Technology & Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted a search on Wednesday morning in the town of Parkland.
Charles D. Sislo was arrested and lodged in the Douglas County Jail on various charges.
It is believed that Sislo, owner of Twin Ports Cleaning, illegally obtained numerous items through his business by cleaning out houses for local realty companies or people who hired him after they had moved out of their residences.
Some items recovered in the search included drivers’ licenses, social security cards, passports, credit cards, EBT cards, checkbooks and prescription medication.
We are asking anyone who hired Sislo or Twin Ports Cleaning to check their personal belongings and financial records to see if anything is missing. If you would like to report any missing items, contact the Sheriff’s Office at 715-395-1371 or the Superior Police Department at 715-395-7234.
