Brian Leuthner, Sales Manager for Telephone Associates, has been elected president of the Superior Rotary Club for 2013-2014.
Leuthner’s goals for the 2013-2014 Superior Rotary Club year include increasing membership and involving all members in club projects and functions; continuing sponsorship of high school students to attend RYLA, a Rotary leadership camp; awarding student scholarships; and participating in community based projects and activities.
“Our members are energetic and enthusiastic, and I look forward continuing our good work in the community and actively supporting Rotary’s global initiatives such as eradicating Polio and helping people gain access to clean water,” said Leuthner.
Officers and directors for the 2013-2014 club year are Erin Makela, president-elect; Len Campbell, president-nominee; Warren Bender, past president and club trainer; Jann Brill and Pat Pluntz, co-secretaries; Tuula Harris, treasurer; Anne Nys, assistant treasurer and club receivables; and directors Taylor Pederson, Julius Erlenbach, James Farkas, Charles Glazman, Doug Dalager and Bob McClellan.
Rotary is an international service club and members work locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide educational and job training, promote peace, and eradicate Polio under the motto Service Above Self.
