William and Mary Jo Collins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 7, 2013.
They renewed their vows at St. Margaret Parish in Bel Air, Md. On Sept. 7, 1963, the couple was married at St. Stanislaus Church in Superior.
A reception was held at the Tower on Main Street in Bel Air, Md. Framed pictures from various times over their 50-year marriage were on display. A DVD of family slides made by the groom was playing. The groom’s Marine Corps sword was used to cut the cake just as on their wedding day.
