The Islamic Center of the Twin Ports and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth co-host an evening of dining and conversation open to the Twin Ports community Aug. 24 at the church, 835 W. College St., Duluth.
Seatings begin at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. and feature great Middle Eastern food and the opportunity for community connections.
A donation of $25 per person is asked for this alcohol-free event; reservations are required at food.uucd@
Attendees will be delighted with luscious flavors and aromas of this elaborate, authentic Middle Eastern dining experience. Appetizers such as falafel, hummus, and eggplant dip will be accompanied by lentil soup, chicken shish tawouk, yalanji, lamb biryani, and baklava.
