The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northwest Regional Office in Superior announced plans to make structural improvements on Wisconsin Highway 35 in the town of Superior.
The project is about five miles south of the city and includes replacement of the existing box culvert at Stony Brook Creek. In addition, slope stabilization work will take place at the Nemadji River Bridge in conjunction with the box culvert replacement.
Highway 35 will be closed to through traffic, and detoured for the duration of the project, scheduled for summer 2014. New right of way will be necessary for this project.
