(Larry) A. Lundholm
Lawrence (Larry) A. Lundholm left this world on June 18, 2013.
Lawrence was born on a farm near Chetek, Wis. on May 18, 1920 to Arvid and Lillian (Johnson) Lundholm. Graduated Barron High School, 1938. On Feb. 7, 1942 he married Fern Homer of Barron, Wis. In World War II he was with the Army Air Corp as a Single Engine Pilot and Gunnery School Instructor. He retired from the Air Force Reserves as a Lt. Colonel and Liaison Officer for the Air Force Academy in 1980.
In 1945, his began his lifelong career with Midland Cooperatives, which merged with Land O' Lakes 1982, he retired in 1984.
Larry always enjoyed skiing - downhill, x-country and ski jumping, bowling, golfing, walking, engaging in conversation with family and friends. Larry and Fern retired to Bella Vista, Ark. in 1987 where he enjoyed multiple social clubs and golf leagues.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his son, Larry and two brothers, Woodrow and Ove.
Lawrence is survived by his devoted wife Fern; his three daughters Gloria Lundholm (Tahoe Vista, Calif.), Cheryl Lundholm (Bella Vista, Ark.) and Sharon Lundholm-O'Sullivan (Madison, Wis.); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Arvena, Laverna and Jean; and one brother, Douglas; plus many nieces and nephews.
