Superior: Something Superior performs a free improvisational comedy show 7-9 p.m. at the second pavilion in Billings Park. Everyone is invited to bring a lawn chair and join the fun. If weather is poor, the show takes place at United Presbyterian Church, 229 N. 28th St. E.
Cable: Dr. Paul Goellner, a physician from Spooner who first recognized a cluster of cases of Lyme disease in the northern Midwest, presents a lecture on “Biology and Ecology of Lyme Disease” at 7 p.m. at the Cable Community Centre.
Superior: Celtic Moose Gift Shoppe, 5819 Tower Ave., is celebrating its first anniversary with a fundraiser for Harbor House. The celebration runs through Saturday. Everyone receives a chance to win a $25 gift certificate or get an extra chance with nonperishable foods or toiletry items donation to Harbor Houses and 100 percent of sales of Lucinda pins goes to the shelters.
