Due to its popularity, our series of musical Wednesday evenings have spilled out of July and now include the first two Wednesdays of August.
All are invited to enjoy the gardens and grounds beginning at 6 p.m. each Wednesday through Aug. 14. Music starts at 7 p.m.
“It’s makes for a special summer evening by the lakeshore enjoying wonderful local artists,” says Beth Peterson, Glensheen’s signature events manager. She advises families to bring chairs, blankets — even a picnic dinner — and to come early enough to wander the blooming gardens and grounds.
The concert lineup includes:
Breanne Marie & Evan Tepler, country vocal & guitar, July 10.
The Getarounds, folk fiddle and violin, July 17.
Beth & Les Music, sea shanty and covers, July 24.
Blue Water Big Band, July 31.
Emily Haavik & Friends, original music & covers, Aug. 7.
And Aug. 14 is to be announced.
These events are free, handicap accessible and open to the public.
