The Thursday Morning Ladies at Nemadji will play the East course this week. The event will be most fours. New tee time starts this week. A draw for partners is at 8:15 a.m. with golf beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Trish Anecki had the least amount of putts and Sharon Terseni had the most in the Wednesday Morning Ladies League at the Nemadji Golf Course.
Gail Erdman also won the chip-in pot.

The 16th annual Johnson Open is July 19 at the Nemadji Golf Course. The event is hosted by the First Nations Center at UW-Superior and money raised is for the American Indian Scholarship fund, which provides a $1,000 scholarship to an American Indian student at UWS.

Deb Tischler’ 41 was low score last week in the Green Dreamers Ladies League at the Northern Pines Golf Course in Iron River.

The annual Kids in Nebagamon (KIN) Tournament is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 at Botten’s Green Acres Golf Course in Lake Nebagamon.
To make tee times call Botten’s at 715-374-2567. The cost per golfer is $30, which covers green fees, prizes and a steak dinner. Each golfer participating will receive a monogrammed golf towel. Teams will be made up of four to five members.
Anyone who doesn’t play golf is invited to enjoy a great steak dinner. Dinner only tickets are $20 and reservations are required. Food will be served from 2 to 4 p.m. Reservations for dinner only should be made by calling Botten’s by July 15.
Money raised will help KIN with its assistance to area children whose families are experiencing crises, such as health problems, unemployment and the illness or death of a parent or child.
Anyone interested in helping this program by sponsoring a hole should call Randy Alexson, chairman of the event and a member of the KIN Board of Directors, at 715-374-2190.
The Thursday Morning Swingers held a 5-7-9 event and short drive on No. 1 on June 27.
