Calumet Superior LLC announced two changes in its management team.
Dave Podratz has been named refinery manager at the Dakota Prairie Refining facility in Dickinson, N.D.
Kollin Schade was promoted to refinery manager at Calumet Superior LLC.
Podratz will lead the organizational development, start-up and commissioning process of the Dakota Prairie Refinery, a joint venture between Calumet Specialty Products Partners and WBI Energy.
Dakota Prairie is the first new U.S. refinery built since 1976, and is expected to produce 8,000 barrels of diesel fuel per day.
Podratz has served as refinery manager at Calumet Superior LLC, a position he held for the past 13 years.
Schade is the operations manager at Calumet Superior LLC, a position held for more than 13 years.
Schade will replace Podratz at Calumet Superior LLC.
The Superior refinery produces gasoline, diesel, asphalt, bunkerfuel and specialty petroleum products marketed in the Midwest region of the United States, including surrounding border states and Canada.
The Superior Refinery employs more than 175 people and contributes more than $100 million to the economy annually.
