Wynn R. Tinker, 61, of Birchwood, Wis. died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 5, 1952, in Superior, Wis. to Robert and JoAnn (Heinecke) Germond. After graduating from the Superior Senior High School in 1970, she then attended UW-Superior and studied business. She married her high school sweetheart Greg Tinker on May 31, 1975, in Superior. Wynn worked for Mastercraft Industries for over 12 years and then became bookkeeper at Marketplace Foods of over 20 years. Quilting, gardening and reading were some of her enjoyments.
Wynn Tinker is survived by her husband, Greg Tinker of Birchwood, Wis.; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Kelly and Adam Prytz of Rice Lake, Wis. and Sara and Shane Elliott of Rochester, Minn.; three granddaughters, Elsa, Whitney and Eva; two sisters, Kim Germond and Dana (Mike) Luzaich all of Superior; a brother, Bruce Germond (JoAnne Rajek) of Rhinelander, Wis.; sister-in-law, Karen (Jim) Orleskie of Gordon, Wis.; three nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and JoAnn Germond; her in-laws, Glenn and June Tinker; and a sister-in-law, Linda Welter.
Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Wis. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake and for one hour prior to the service at the Church on Wednesday.
