Duluth: Veterans’ Memorial Hall, presents “History in a Pint” at 6 p.m. at Carmody Irish Pub & Brewing. The presentation, “From Combat in Iraq to Service in Duluth” features retired Lt. Col. Steve Saari, a pilot and the mission commander of 12 F-16 pilots in 2005, the first of 12 F-16s to deploy to a combat zone from the Minnesota Air National Guard. The event is free. Superior: A Ruby’s Pantry food distribution takes place at Christ Lutheran Church, 320 N. 28th St. E. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with distribution starting about 5 p.m. There are no income or residence guidelines. For a $15 donation, people receive a large amount of food. Bring bags, boxes or baskets to carry the food.
