What’s up with 21st Street?I believe it was four or five years ago that North 21st Street was completely redone, and it looked like a very good job.
I believe it was four or five years ago that North 21st Street was completely redone, and it looked like a very good job.
Why, then, are they now stripping the surface from Logan to New York Avenue, tearing out the curbing and the road close to the curbs, and doing other work?
If this was a poor job to begin with, shouldn’t someone from the city have been supervising the job. And what might this tell us about the work going on now on Tower? Will we have the same future “do-over?”

Editor’s note: The work on North 21st Street is warranty work to correct problems with original construction. While North 21st Street was a city project, Tower Avenue oversight falls to the state.
