Luke Dakota Johnson, 18, of Poplar earned the highest advancement the Boy Scouts of America offers to Scouts, the Eagle Scout Award.
A member of Troop 212, he has served as Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Chaplain Aide, and Librarian and received the God and Church Lutheran Religious Award.
Johnson chose to build and install several picnic tables at Northwestern High School for his community service project.
Johnson is a member of Christ Lutheran Church and is active in football, band, high school musical, and choir at Northwestern High School, where he is a senior.
He is the son of Jeffrey and Susan Johnson, Poplar. He is the grandson of Harold and Mavis Johnson, Rice Lake. He is the grandson of Norma Fechtelkotter, Poplar.
