Mary Louise Fruehauf, 63, of Pewaukee, Wis., passed away on May 12, 2013, after a sudden illness.
She was born in Superior on May 21, 1949, to Dr. Richard and Evelyn Fruehauf. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1967, and from Viterbo University in 1971.
Mary loved to travel and had many hobbies and interests, including crocheting, reading, and sports. Mary followed her Packers and Badgers, constantly rooting them on to victory.
Mary is survived by her siblings, Patricia (Peter) Dalum, of Marshfield, Wis., Jean (John) Patrenets, of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Richard (Mary) Fruehauf, of Superior, and Catherine (Al) Pokorny, of Savage, Minn. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Kevin (Missy) Dalum, Kate (Phil) Kelley, Mark (Julie) Fruehauf, Beth Fruehauf, Steve Fruehauf, Michael Pokorny, and Daniel Pokorny, and many other relatives, friends, and co-workers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Fruehauf.
Mary was employed for many years at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wis. The family would like to thank the staff at Community Memorial for taking such excellent care of Mary. It was a sincere comfort to know that she was in good hands and surrounded by such good friends.
