Senior Connections offers hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday for people 60 or older. Meals are delivered to homebound individuals and are served at congregate sites in Douglas County. A $3.50 contribution is requested per meal but no one is denied because of inability to pay. Call 715-394-3611 or 800-870-2181. Next week’s menu includes:
June 10: Beef rigatoni, tossed salad, corn, bread stick, peanut butter cookie.
June 11: Riblette, oven brown potato, cauliflower, wheat bun, fresh fruit.
June 12: Ham and Swiss sandwich, lettuce, whole wheat bread, cheese broccoli soup, strawberry shortcake.
June 13: Tuna macaroni casserole, peas, whole wheat roll, pears.
June 14: Sloppy Joe on a bun, baked beans, potato salad, banana cake.
