Superior’s Joe Reasbeck added to his impressive wrestling resume recently with three more national championships.
Reasbeck won the national championship at the Folkstyle Veterans Wrestling Championship on April 4-6 at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Reasbeck finished first among heavyweights in the E Division for wrestlers age 55-57.
He then won two heavyweight titles at the Greco and Freestyle Championships at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 16-18.
The former Superior High School teacher and wrestling coach has now won 29 USA and AAU national wrestling titles since 1997.
His accomplishments included three different styles of wrestling and three different weight classes (187, 214 and heavyweight) at three different ages.
Reasbeck will next complete at the World Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be Oct 1-6.
