Two Northland bankers tapped for Wisconsin Bankers Association
At the 109th annual meeting of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Group 1 held Feb. 22-23 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, past president, Scott L. Ogren, executive vice president of Security State Bank, Iron River nominated Bruce Thompson, community bank president for Wisconsin at National Bank of Commerce, Superior, as the 2013 secretary/treasurer.
At the 109th annual meeting of the Wisconsin Bankers Association Group 1 held Feb. 22-23 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, past president, Scott L. Ogren, executive vice president of Security State Bank, Iron River nominated Bruce Thompson, community bank president for Wisconsin at National Bank of Commerce, Superior, as the 2013 secretary/treasurer.
Ogren had served as the 2011 president and has been an officer over the past four years.
Thompson will also be moving through the officer’s status continuing to represent the Northland over the next four years. Group 1 is made up of bankers located in the 20 northwestern counties of Wisconsin.
Other current officers are Scott Krieger, Bankers Bank, Eau Claire, Wis.; Michael Bock, Dairy State Bank, Rice Lake, Wis.; and Troy Werk, Charter Bank, Eau Claire.
