Elections you say are the answer. You’re wrong. When just over half the populace puts back into office one of the worst presidents ever just because free phones and other ways to buy votes tells me the system is broken. The system is also broken when uninformed voters vote for the color of a man’s skin instead of his qualifications. The system is broken when a group like the Black Panthers block voters from voting in Philadelphia and other voter fraud.
What that man said about the 2nd Amendment and to fear a tyrannical government is true. Too many politicians these days including the current president and some in congress ignore the Constitution and what it stands for. They took an oath to uphold the Constitution then walk all over it. We have a president who wants his own way and tries to use executive orders to bypass congress to get his own way, and in many cases, is unconstitutional.
We need politicians to uphold the Constitution and what it stands for; if they do not, they should be booted out. We need term limits and no more gravy train of politicians getting an outrageous pension for life on the taxpayers dime.
Only problem is the politicians make the laws that apply to them. Not very fair is it.
The 2nd Amendment is one of the few things that keeps them at least partially honest and keeps us a free nation. It also was meant to let the citizens have the same arms the military does within reason. A semi-automatic firearm with a high capacity magazine is within reason.
