Seven members of the University of Wisconsin-Superior men’s hockey team have been named to the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Academic Team for the 2012-13 season.
Yellowjackets honored were: sophomore Kevin Clark (San Dimas, Calif.), physical education; junior Pat Dalbec (Superior), math/physics; sophomore Alec Doig (New Prague, Minn.), business/accounting; sophomore Wes Judnick (Virginia, Minn.); junior Joey Massingham (Duncan, B.C.), physical education; junior Brad Phenow (Sauk Rapids, Minn.); communicating arts journalism; and junior Mike Rey (Winnipeg).
UW-Eau Claire senior Jordan Singer (Lino Lakes, Minn.) has been selected as the 2013 NCHA Scholar-Athlete winner. Singer is a business management major and a three-time All-Academic winner.
