In the nonpartisan contests, voters will choose between current superintendent Tony Evers and state representative Don Pridemore, and between Justice Pat Roggensack and Marquette law professor Ed Fallone.

A new report from the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance (WISTAX), “Wisconsin’s Spring Elections,” offers unedited responses to questions sent to all candidates. WISTAX asked the superintendent candidates to provide information regarding their backgrounds and their reasons for running. They were asked also their opinions about the challenges facing Wisconsin public education and the efficacy of state’s education system.

WISTAX asked the Supreme Court candidates about their backgrounds, reasons for running, and their judicial philosophies. Justice Roggesnack provided her responses. Although Professor Fallone did not reply, WISTAX provided information from his campaign website, as a public service.
