On April 2, Superior residents will be voting for two candidates for important positions on the Superior School Board. One of the newest candidates for this year’s election is James Farkas.
In addition to his responsibilities as general manager of Northern Engineering, James is active in various organizations in our community. Because of his interest in helping the youth of our community receive the best education possible, James finds time to regularly volunteer at the Great Lakes Elementary School. He assists students in learning new skills, thus helping them gain confidence and enjoy learning.
Additionally, James Farkas is a gifted negotiator, one who looks at various sides of issues, is articulate in expressing his thoughts, and bringing those with opposing positions together. James is a man of integrity, is dependable, and has a keen interest in our students’ education, the role of the School Board, and our teachers and staff.
James Farkas would be an asset as a member of the Superior School Board.
Nel Thompson,
Superior
