Five South Superior businesses are teaming up to help Harbor House Crises Shelters during the second annual Shop Hop for Shopaholics 5-8 p.m. Friday.

The stores will open their doors to the public with treats and specials during that time. Tickets are available for $1 with the proceeds going to Harbor House Crises Shelters.

Anyone can visit the shops during the event, but those who buy the ticket are also eligible to receive a gift bag and enter a door prize drawing.

Businesses taking part in the shop hop include Celtic Moose Gift Shoppe, 5819 Tower Ave., Creative Image, 5901 Ogden Ave., Shannon’s Stained Glassery, 5904 Ogden Ave., Blondies Salon, 5917 Tower Ave. and Shabby Shed, 6101 Tower Ave.

Harbor House provides shelter, transitional living and services for homeless women and families. Last year’s shop hop raised about $280 for the organization.
