Please accept this letter as our standing ovation.
We’d like to honor the students and staff for the wonderful evening of delicious food — large helpings of lasagna and wide variety of desserts — welcoming smiles and helpers, and creative musical entertainment. The entire evening was a delight and so personal with their own choices of music and what they did with it. Each student shined.
Superior High School had a dinner and concert. Our granddaughter invited us to go because she would be in the concert and it is her senior year, so we didn’t want to miss seeing and hearing her.
They all did so much work to pull it all together and did a wonderful job.
It is well worth attending events like this to see what our students enjoy doing with their time. I can’t stress this enough.
We are so proud to have been a witness to such a giving, safe community that provides a place for talented young people to showcase what they are capable of in positive ways, and the music instructors and other caring staff who support them.
It has left us with a glow that will carry us through the rest of the winter. You really missed it if you’ve never seen and heard the professionalism in skills and voices, “The Typewriter”, (by Leroy Anderson), by the school’s concert orchestra or P.D.Q. Bach’s highlighted percussion section, the finale by the school’s Concert Band. All performances of the night were amazing.
Bob and Viola LaBounty,
Solon Springs
