Workshop offers help to live well with chronic conditions

Living Well with Chronic Conditions is the subject of two workshops planned in Douglas County.

Living Well with Chronic Conditions is the subject of two workshops planned in Douglas County.

The six week workshop is offered free to adults who have an ongoing health condition such as diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain or anxiety.

The workshop provides support, strategies to deal with pain and fatigue, nutrition education, exercise choices, and learn better ways to talk with your doctor and family about your health.

A workshop is offered 2-4:30 p.m. each Thursday through April 11 at the Douglas County Government Center, Room 270, 1316 N. 14th St., Superior.

An informational meeting begins at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at the Solon Springs Community Center, 115623 S. Business 53, Solon Springs for a workshop that runs 1-3:30 p.m. Mondays starting April 15 at the Community Center.
