Mission fundraiser
The Ukraine Mission Team of Bayside Baptist Church, 3915 N. 16th St., hosts a pasta buffet and silent auction to raise money for its trip to its sister church in Konotop, Ukraine. The buffet includes a salad station, bread bar, pasta picks, sauce selections and tasty treats for dessert 5-7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for ages 12 and older, $6 for children ages 5-11 and children 4 and younger eat free. There will also be a silent auction with many valuable items and gift certificates donated by local businesses and individuals. King’s men
King’s Men meet at 6:45 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap St. A free will offering is received for the meal, and the morning is complete no later than 7:30 a.m. The speaker for March is Carolyn Haney, guidance counselor at Bryant Elementary School. All men are cordially invited. Call ahead at 715-392-4731, but drop-ins are welcome.
