Senior Connections offers hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday for people 60 or older. Meals are delivered to homebound individuals and are served at congregate sites in Douglas County.

Senior Connections offers hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday for people 60 or older. Meals are delivered to homebound individuals and are served at congregate sites in Douglas County. A $3.50 contribution is requested per meal but no one is denied because of inability to pay. Call 715-394-3611 or 800-870-2181. Next week’s menu includes:

March 11: Beef pasta casserole, Caesar salad, corn, breadstick, tropical fruit.

March 12: Hot turkey

whipped potatoes, gravy, beets, wheat dinner roll, pineapple tidbits.

March 13: Rosemary roast pork, baked potato, sour cream, green beans, whole-wheat bun, cinnamon applesauce.

March 14: Chicken patty

on a bun, mayo, vegetable soup, mandarin oranges, cookie

March 15: Baked fish, potato wedges, carrot coins, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.
