Duluth: “St. Louis River Rats”, Dixieland trio plays 6-8 p.m. at the Ratheskellar in Tycoons Alehouse and Eatery, 132 E. Superior St. Free.

Duluth: Local nonprofit organization East Hillside Patch hosts a talent show and fundraiser at the Teatro Zuccone, 222 E. Superior St. at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for children 9 and younger. Proceeds benefit the East Hillside Patch’s Mind 2 Mind youth program. A silent auction will be held too. Tickets are available at Teatro Zuccone the evening of the show.

Cloquet: The Carlton County Historical Society’s current exhibit, “Before Cell Phones,” is open at 406 Cloquet Ave., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays until June. Admission to the museum is $2 for adults, $1 for children under 12 and $5 for families. Children younger than 5 and CCHS members admitted free. The museum is handicapped accessible. Saturday

Hawthorne: Check out the Winter Rummage Sale at Whispering Pines EFC at 7523 S. County Road B, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come find your rummage treasures — toys, dishes, knick-knacks and more.

Danbury: Cozy Corner Trails Inc., 38th annual Booya and Raffle will be held at Moose Junction Bar on Highway 35 about 24 miles north of Danbury from noon to 5 p.m. Food will be served and door prizes drawn beginning at noon. Grand prize drawings are at 5 p.m. Raffle tickets are available in advance from any club member, and at Cozy Corner Inn, Hillside Inn and Moose Junction Bar, as well as at the event. All proceeds are used to purchase and maintain equipment for trail maintenance in northern Burnett and southern Douglas Counties, and sponsor community events.

Duluth: Did you enjoy the recent blockbuster “Lincoln?” Do you want to learn more about this trying time in the nation’s history? Karpeles Manuscript Museum, 902 E. First St., is the place to be at 3:30 p.m. as the museum hosts to its first guest speaker, William Miller, who will give a lecture corresponding to the museum’s current exhibit, “The Beginning of the Civil War.” Free. Monday

Superior: A presentation on the possibility of adding a water taxi or ferry from Canal Park to Barker’s Island and other locations starts at 4:30 p.m. with refreshments and networking in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. The presentation starts at 5:15 p.m., followed by a question and answer session.

Tuesday

Superior: A Cancer Prayer Support Group meets 2-3 pm at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, 4020 S. Darrow Road. Current cancer patients, those in remission, and caregivers are encouraged to attend. This faith-filled meeting is open to all community members regardless of church affiliation. Call 715-399-8885.

Superior: A new support group for individuals with mental health including depression, bipolar, seasonal disorder, and schizophrenia meets from 5-7 p.m. at the Superior Public Library.

Superior: Enjoy “Coffee with a Cop” 8:30-10 a.m. at Breakwater Restaurant, 4927 E. Superior: Douglas County Public Health Services hosts a children’s immunization clinic runs 1-4:30 p.m. All routine immunizations for children 6 months and older will be available. Bring your immunization records. Vaccines are free to children who don’t have health insurance, are on Medical Assistance, or whose insurance doesn’t cover vaccines. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the authorization.

Thursday

Duluth: The Mental Health Support Group will meet at Miller Dwan Medical Center, 502 East 2nd Street in meeting rooms 1-3, lobby level, eastside near the auditorium from 5-7 p.m.
