The board of directors of the Lucius Woods Performing Arts Center has selected Teresa Salmen as its new executive director. She will replace Pat Pluntz who will retire in April.
Salmen graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in fashion merchandising and business management. She served as a buyer and productions manager for Shadetree Systems in Columbus, Ohio, and a regional supervisor for Ohio, Indiana and Illinois territory for Charming Shoppes.
Throughout her life, Salmen spent summers at her family’s place on Island Lake in the town of Solon Springs, and has chosen to make Solon Springs her permanent home.
“We are very pleased to have Teresa as our new executive director, and our board of directors is looking forward to working with her as we begin our 20th season of our summer concert series,” said Jean Till, board president. “Theresa has a wealth of professional management experience, and her strong communications and organizational skills are a good fit for LWPAC.”
