Four money bags were stolen from a Senior Connections work van delivering meals to the elderly last week. The money bags were reported missing Tuesday, according to a Superior Police Department report. They were in a van that had apparently been left unlocked while the driver made deliveries throughout Superior and Douglas County, according to the report. Stops included Gordon, Wentworth, Lake Nebagamon and Solon Springs. It is not known where or exactly when the bags were taken, but Senior Connections staff believed the bags, which contained more than $100 in cash and personal checks, were taken sometime between Feb. 21 and 22. No damage was done to the vehicle.
