Blood drives planned for Douglas County

Three blood drives are slated in Superior this month. Memorial Blood Center blood drives will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today at Halvor Lines, 217 Grand Ave., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at National Bank of Commerce, 1127 Tower Ave. and from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 11 at Superior High School, 2600 Catlin Ave. For more information, call 888-448-3253 or visit the website at www.MBC.org.

All donors who step up to give blood in March can enter to win one of four four-packs of tickets to an April Minnesota Timberwolves game. Winners will enjoy the game from suite seats with appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages provided.
