Kalevala Day
Celebrate Kalevala Day at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Kenwood Lutheran Church, 2720 Myers Ave., Duluth. David Kess and Eila Ivonen of Virginia, Minn., bring an old Sampo (mill) from the Knights of Kaleva archives and share the Kalevala stories of the nine paintings on this unique Sampo. A freewill donation is taken.
