Voters in Superior narrowed the field of candidates Tuesday in two races for the Superior City Council.

In Superior’s 4th District council race, former County Board Supervisor Jack Sweeney and Superior High School Intervention Coordinator Mark Johnson will be on the ballot April 2.

The two will be vying for the seat Councilor Jackie Stenberg plans to vacate in April.

Terry Massoglia and Kimberly Collins also appear on the April 2 ballot in the running for the 6th District Council seat.

The seat was previously held by Councilor Len Joyal who resigned in December.

Christina Kintop, Patrick Dorin, Michael Raunio and James Farkas advance to four positions on the ballot for the Superior School Board. Town and villages in the School District of Superior are still untallied.

Two seats are up for grabs on the Superior School Board.
