In Superior’s 74-51 win Thursday night at Rice Lake, Lindstrom led the way with 28 points. Kontny added 24 points, Correll had 14, and Clemons and Alison Wainionpaa chipped in with four points apiece.
Lindstrom and Correll made two 3-pointers each and Kontny made one.
“I was really proud of our offensive efficiency,” SHS coach Phil Roe said. “Our team really destroyed their zone and scored the most points of any team against Rice Lake this season.
“My girls were very aggressive on both ends of the court and that is how you beat a good team in their house. We continue to get better each week.”
The Spartans, the No. 1 seed in Division 1, host the winner of the Wausau East and Hudson on Friday, March 1.
Hayward, the No. 3 seed in Division 3, hosts the winner of the Somerset and St. Croix Falls, also on March 1.
