Freshman Tom Doig fired home the winning goal in overtime as the UW-Superior hockey team defeated Lakehead University 5-4. Dave Selissen registered a UWS goal and Scott VanDamme scored twice before Pat Boychuk slammed home a goal to send the game into overtime. (1977)
