The wrestling season came to an end for a couple of area athletes with losses at Saturday’s sectional meets.
Superior High School’s Nicholas Long lost to Bee Lor of Wausau West by technical fall, 25-9, at 106 pounds. Long ends his season with a record of 30-8.
Northwestern High School’s Jackson Doller was pinned in his 170-pound match by Max Praschak of Somerset in 1:20. Doller ends the season with a record of 12-14. The Division 2 sectional meet was held in Somerset.
