Employment: Worked in the taconite industry and was a contractor for many years, running his own company in energy conservation analysis. Semi-retired, he still provides the service on an independent basis.

Government and civic experience: Has worked with city and state government as a licensed contractor.

Family: Single, close to his parents; one brother and one sister.

Employment: Intervention coordinator at Superior High School

Education: Attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior for 2½ years; planning to return in the fall.

Government and civic experience: Coordinates the Tony G. 3-on-3 tournament which has raise more than $100,000 for legal studies scholarships in addition to supporting organizations like Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, Don Leighton’s Hunger Takes No Holiday campaign, Honor Flight and other efforts. Also served as a driver in Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade in Superior and got involved in President Obama’s re-election campaign.

Family: Married to Carolyn; three adult children, five grandchildren

Employment: Worked in finance in private and nonprofit sectors; retired as finance director for a nonprofit.

Education: Graduated from Superior Cathedral High School and University of Wisconsin-Superior with a degree in business administration and accounting.

Government/civic experience: Serves on NorthernBridges board for health care; and serves on the board of directors for Northwest Wisconsin Concentrated Employment Program and Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency; served on the Douglas County Board from 2005 to 2012.
