Virginia M. Lindberg, 88, Martin Luther Care Center, Bloomington, Minn. Virginia went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to be reunited with many friends and family members.
Virginia M. Lindberg, 88, Martin Luther Care Center, Bloomington, Minn. Virginia went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and to be reunited with many friends and family members.
She grew up in Chicago, Ill. and graduated from Lakeview High School where she met Richard Lindberg whom she married after WWII. She and Dick raised their family in Chicago, Ill. and spent summers in Lake Nebagamon, Wis. and eventually moved up to the lake when Dick retired. There she enjoyed her church, her Garden Club and many friends.
After Dick's death she lived in Minot, N.D. with her daughter and son-in-law Laurel and Craig Jennings. In Nov. of 2009, she became a resident of Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, Minn. where she resided until her death.
She was a Godly mother to Donna (Robert) Blake, Richard (Erna) Lindberg, Laurel (Craig) Jennings; extra ordinary Grandma to Kathryn Lindberg, Christian Lindberg, Erik Lindberg, Karen (Benjamin) Tonneson, Brian Jennings, David (Melissa) Jennings; great grandmother to Logan Taylor and sister to Jean (Donald) Goebelt.
Funeral service Tuesday, February 12, at 2 p.m. at Martin Luther Care Center Chapel, 1401 E. 100th St. Private interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Spooner, Wis. Family will greet friends one hour before service.
