Eisenmann and Morris advance to state swim and dive meet

The Superior High School boys swimming and diving team had two individuals advance to next weekend’s WIAA State Meet at the University of Wisconsin natatorium in Madison.

Juniors Andrew Eisenmann and Mason Morris qualified for state in the 100-yard freestyle, while Mason Morris advanced in the diving event.

Eisenmann placed second in the 100-yard free in 49.10 seconds and Morris was fourth in diving with 344.20 points.

Eau Claire Memorial/North won the team title with 388 points. Superior finished seventh with 181.5 points.

SPARTAN SPIN: There will be a state send-off for the two at 7:50 a.m. Friday in the SHS gym. The public is invited to attend.
