Dolores A. "Dorrie" Becker

Dolores A. "Dorrie" Becker, 94, of Superior died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 in Middle River Heath and Rehabilitation Center.

Dorrie was born Oct. 11, 1918 in Park Falls Wis. to Elmer and Anna (Larson) Peterson.

Dorrie and her husband, Jack operated the concession at Nemadji Golf Course for 26 years.

She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, The Superior Garden Club and the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack"; and two sons Thomas and Michael.

She is survived by a son, John (Lisa) Becker, Jr. of Hayward, Wis.; a daughter, Anne Kreel of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters-in- law, Mary Becker of Woodbury, Minn., and Darlene Becker of Janesville, Wis.; grandchildren, Janine (Tony) Pichler, Sandy (Jim) Krueger, Diane (Doug) Dorschner, Teri (Howie) Critcher, Niki (Quinn) Downs and Nathan (Kelly) Kreel; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Butch (Carol) Peterson of Merrill, Wis.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial on Friday, Feb. 8 in Cathedral of Christ the King with Rev. Fr. Andrew P. Ricci as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Nola Cemetery in Park Falls, Wis.
