UWS offers free heart health events

Celebrate Heart Health Week at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

Celebrate Heart Health Week at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Events kick off with free blood pressure screenings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Yellowjacket Union. Enjoy a live cooking demonstration on healthy eating as well as free blood pressure screenings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Yellowjacket Union. Stop by the union again from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday to learn more about how to maintain a healthy weight body mass index. A blood drive will be going on in the Yellowjacket Union parking lot that day from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Join UWS students, staff and faculty for a one-mile walk on the Marcovich Wellness Center track at noon Thursday. Free blood pressure screenings will take place for an hour prior to the walk. All events are free and open to the public.
