Superior Choice Credit Union and LSS Financial Counseling Service have paired up to help Northlanders make 2013 the year to get their debt under control.
Superior Choice Credit Union and LSS Financial Counseling Service have paired up to help Northlanders make 2013 the year to get their debt under control. They have designed “The Great Debt Pay Down,” a yearlong program of financial education and counseling with a twist. Participants in the pay down will be competing to win a $5,000 grand prize for them to use for further debt reducation or to establish a long-term savings plan. Last year’s participants paid down on average $6,100 of debt and set themselves on the road to financial freedom. “The Great Debt Pay Down” is, for all participants, a guided opportunity to change their relationship with money.
Participants don’t have to be a member of SCCU or client of LSS. Simply go to SCCU’s website, wwwsuperiorchoice.com, and fill out the application. All applications must be received by Feb. 8 to be in the program. There is no fee to participate.
